Course Description
The course focuses on the study of the different founding principles and skills needed to play the different types of sports under athletics, individual, dual and combative

sports.

Course Credit/ Unit: 3 lecture hours

At the end of the course, the students must have:
1.

Defined and differentiated athletics, individual, dual and combative sports;

2.

Applied the basic skills needed to perform the featured sports;

3.

Obtained thorough knowledge and understanding of the historical development of each sport;

4.

Discussed and applied the basic rules and regulations underlying each featured sport;

5.

Demonstrated leadership in their various groups in the different featured sport, and

6.

Acquired and applied the necessary attitudes towards athletics, individual, dual and combative sports.
