For the word of God is alive and

powerful. It is sharper than the

sharpest two-edged sword, cutting
between soul and spirit, between joint
and marrow. It exposes our innermost
thoughts and desires.

So is my word that goes out from

my mouth: It will not return to me
empty, but will accomplish what I
desire and achieve the purpose for
which I sent it.

22 Then

Jesus said to the disciples, Have faith

in God. 23 I tell you the truth, you can say to
this mountain, May you be lifted up and
thrown into the sea, and it will happen. But
you must really believe it will happen and
have no doubt in your heart. 24 I tell you, you
can pray for anything, and if you believe that
youve received it, it will be yours.

28 They

demanded, By what authority are

you doing all these things? Who gave you
the right to do them?29 Ill tell you by what
authority I do these things if you answer one
question, Jesus replied. 30 Did Johns
authority to baptize come from heaven, or
was it merely human? Answer me!

31 They

talked it over among themselves. If we

say it was from heaven, he will ask why we
didnt believe John. 32 But do we dare say it was
merely human? For they were afraid of what
the people would do, because everyone believed
that John was a prophet. 33 So they finally
replied, We dont know. And Jesus
responded, Then I wont tell you by what
authority I do these things.

10 Now

go, for I am sending you to

Pharaoh. You must lead my people
Israel out of Egypt. 11 But Moses
protested to God, Who am I to appear
before Pharaoh? Who am I to lead the
people of Israel out of Egypt?

12 God

answered, I will be with you.

And this is your sign that I am the
one who has sent you: When you
have brought the people out of Egypt,
you will worship God at this very
mountain.

25 And

there will be strange signs in the sun,

moon, and stars. And here on earth the
nations will be in turmoil, perplexed by the
roaring seas and strange tides. 26 People will
be terrified at what they see coming upon
the earth, for the powers in the heavens will
be shaken.

27 Then

everyone will see the Son

of Man coming on a cloud with
28
power and great glory. So when
all these things begin to happen,
stand and look up, for your
salvation is near!

29 Then

he gave them this

illustration: Notice the fig tree, or any other
tree. 30 When the leaves come out, you know
without being told that summer is near. 31 In
the same way, when you see all these things
taking place, you can know that the
Kingdom of God is near.

32 I

tell you the truth, this generation

will not pass from the scene until all
these things have taken
place. 33 Heaven and earth will
disappear, but my words will never
disappear.

1 Joyful

are people of integrity, who

follow the instructions of the LORD.
2 Joyful are those who obey his laws
and search for him with all their
hearts. 3 They do not compromise with
evil, and they walk only in his paths.

4 You

have charged us to keep your

5
commandments carefully. Oh, that
my actions would consistently reflect
your decrees! 6 Then I will not be
ashamed when I compare my life
with your commands.

7 As

I learn your righteous

regulations, I will thank you
8
by living as I should! I will
obey your decrees. Please
dont give up on me!

9 How

can a young person stay pure?

By obeying your word. 10 I have tried
hard to find you dont let me wander
from your commands. 11 I have hidden
your word in my heart, that I might not
sin against you.

12 I

praise you, O LORD; teach me

your decrees. 13 I have recited
aloud all the regulations you
14
have given us. I have rejoiced
in your laws as much as in
riches.

15 I

will study your

commandments and reflect on
16
your ways. I will delight in
your decrees and not forget
your word.

17 Be

good to your servant, that I may

live and obey your word. 18 Open
my eyes to see the wonderful truths
19
in your instructions. I am only a
foreigner in the land. Dont hide your
commands from me!

20 I

am always overwhelmed
with a desire for your
21
regulations. You rebuke the
arrogant; those who wander
from your commands are
cursed.

22 Dont

let them scorn and insult me,

for I have obeyed your laws.
23 Even princes sit and speak against
me, but I will meditate on your
decrees.24 Your laws please me;
they give me wise advice.

65 You

have done many good

things for me, LORD, just as you
66
promised. I believe in your
commands; now teach me good
judgment and knowledge.

67 I

used to wander off until

you disciplined me; but now I
closely follow your word.
68 You are good and do only
good; teach me your decrees.

69 Arrogant

people smear me with

lies, but in truth I obey your
commandments with all my
70
heart. Their hearts are dull and
stupid, but I delight in your
instructions.

71 My

suffering was good for me,

for it taught me to pay
72
attention to your decrees. Your
instructions are more valuable to
me than millions in gold and
silver.

All Scripture is inspired by God and is

useful to teach us what is true and to
make us realize what is wrong in
our lives. It corrects us when we are
wrong and teaches us to do what is
right.

A. It would be impossible to move a mountain

into the sea; so Jesus used that picture to say
that God can do anything.
B. Its not your positive mental attitude that
will give us breakthrough but by our full
faith in Gods word.

A. It brings us to live a joyful life consistently living in

obedience to His words (Psalm 119:1-8)
B. By reading and obeying His words make us stay pure
in a contaminating environment. (Psalm 119:9-16)
C. The Bible has become our road map, pointing our safe
routes, obstacle to avoid, and our final
destination.(V.17-24)

D. Gods word makes us wise-wiser than our

enemies and wiser than any teachers who ignore
it.(Psalm 119:65-72)
-True wisdom goes beyond amazing knowledge;
it is applying knowledge in a life changing ways.
-Wisdom comes from allowing what God teaches
us to guide us.
