Finance Council April Meeting Minutes


The Finance Council met on the evening of April 28th. Rick Cosenza,
Lori Bhardwaj, Elaine Ward, Brian Carnahan, and Fr. Peter were in
attendance. The March minutes were unanimously approved. Every-
thing is going well at the Early Learning Academy. 29 students are
currently registered for next year. The Lombard’s Got Talent fund-
raiser was a success, so thank you to all who were involved. Planning
has begun for the white elephant sale in June. The response to our
Planned Parish Offering has been lower than expected, but we would

A note of thanks to the work of the Worship commission
this year. The leadership of Bill Runge and the team effort
of all has been a blessing as we strive to bring others in
the community closer to Christ, through worship, liturgical
and spiritual activities. Thank you to all the members of
the liturgical and prayer ministries for their dedication to
their assignments and love they put into their ministry. It

CHRIST THE KING’S WHITE ELEPHANT RUMAGE SALE


SALE DATES:
June 17-19 (9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.)

Donated items can be dropped off under the canopy to the left of the school entrance. Items must be clean and in
working condition. Items we cannot accept include infant/toddler car seats, baby walkers, mesh-type playpens, cribs
with slats less than 2 ½ inches apart, mattress/box springs, computer monitors, paint, chemicals, and skis. All proceeds
will benefit Christ the King’s Early Learning Academy. We also have a need for plastic and paper bags. Volunteers
