INTRODUCTION
Situation Analysis
Training in the different field is important to be flexible in any activities and
to enhance the capabilities of people. Training is teaching or developing in
oneself or others, any skills and knowledge that relate to specific useful
competencies. Technology and training can be merged to enhance further the
knowledge of every people in the world.
As stated by Zwass (2011) information system as integrated set of
components for collecting, storing, processing and communicating information.
Business firms, organizations and individuals in contemporary society rely on
information systems to manage their operations, compete in the marketplace,
supply services and augment personal lives.
Furthermore, from the study of Gomez et al (2011), an information system
computerization concerns about interrelating different but interdependent
transactions. This can result in a system with well-integrated process that was
performing much faster and more accurate than a manual system. Computer
based information system improved the productivity of living. At the moment,
computer-based systems was commonly used by most institution nationwide.
Allen (2013), stated that there are many advantages to computer-based
information systems, the most notable of which are the following: The superior

speed with which data can be accessed, the additional confidentiality afforded by
techniques such as encryption, the reduction of redundancy and space needed
to store information. A computer-based system can sort, store and retrieve data
much more quickly. Files within a computer-based information system can be
password-protected and encrypted, so that only authorized users can access the
data. Manual information systems rely upon physical looks and keys to control
access.
Tanedo (2013) of Visayas, Quezon city stated that Forestry Information
System was mandated to provide support for the effective protection,
development, occupancy management and conversation of forestlands and
watersheds. In view of this mandate, the FMB provides technical support and
assist in the monitoring of all forestry-related projects, programs and activities
that the DENR is presently pursuing. The information system modules have
already been developed and implemented in the Central Office and the two Pilot
Regional Offices
LUTTP is Training Provider and Assessment Center for technical and vocational
courses. LUTTP is located in the heart of City and San Fernando La Union.
Statement of the Problem
This study is conducted to develop Trainee Information System of La
Union Tek-Bok Training Provider.
Specially, it sought to answer the following problems:

1. What is the status of the Information and Communication Technology

(ICT) resources of La Union Tek-Bok Training Provider in terms of:
a. Hardware,
b. Software, and
c. Peopleware?
2. What are the capabilities and constraints of the existing information
system of La Union Tek-Bok Training Provider in terms of:
a. Performance,
b. Information,
c. Economics,
d. Control,
e. Efficiency and
f. Service?
3. What system to be develop for La Union Tek-Bok Training Provider?
4. What is the degree of acceptability of the Trainee Information System of
La Union Tek-Bok Training Provider using ISO 9126 in terms of:
a. Functionality,
b. Reliability,
c. Usability,
d. Efficiency,
e. Maintainability and

General Objectives
The general objective of the study is to develop Trainee Information
System of La Union Tek-Bok Training Provider.
Specific Objectives
The specific objectives of the study are:
1. To determine the status of the Information and Communication
Technology (ICT) resources of La Union Tek-Bok Training Provider in
terms of:

Significance of the Study

The system was developed to make the works of La Union Tek-Bok

Training Information System (LUTBTIS) more efficient and easier in terms of
disseminating information to deliver the message correctly and clearly. The main
beneficiary of the study was the LUTBTIS adapts the innovation of technology
through application program database that was made for their work with optimum
performance
This served as one of the basis of other future researchers which would
give them relevant information about the study.
Finally the researchers would enhance their skills and work performance
while accomplishing the study.
