Leadership and Management Centre

The School Improvement Committee, Childrens Centre Committee and Finance and
General Purposes Committee have met since the last Governing Body meeting, ensuring
that all meetings link closely to improvement plans.
Meetings with all staff have ensured that staff are working towards Appraisal objectives.
All leadership staff have an objective from the new National standards of excellence for
headteachers to provide training on Domain two which focuses on pupils and staff. The
assistant head and deputy head will also be working on Domain four with the head teacher
focussing on the self-improving school system which supports the strategic work with
Parkland and Holybrook Primaries.
An increased number of disadvantaged pupils in reading, writing and maths are working at
age related in all classes.
The most recent Parent View Evaluation shows that 100% of parents agree, if not strongly
agree, with a positive view of education that their child receives at Fagley Primary.
Through the work within the East One Partnership all staff have had to reflect on their
practice, especially in Maths and then present these findings to two other schools hence
strengthening their own subject knowledge and delivery of skills to colleagues in other
schools.
