LEISURE TRAILS

A CIRCULAR WALK AROUND

AWBRIDGE AND TRYSULL

4 MILES
This is a four-mile circular walk, one of a series
based on the South Staffordshire Railway Walk.
The walking is fairly easy and is a mixture
of lanes, tracks and footpaths, some of
which can be muddy in wet weather! Be
prepared and wear strong comfortable
footwear, and remember that even on a
sunny day the weather can change. The
walk should take about two and a half

hours, but allow more time if you have

children or inexperienced walkers with you.
The walk is not suitable for pushchairs or
wheelchairs. The canal towpath referred to
in this leaflet is not a public right of way
and its use is at the walkers own risk.

After the next stile turn right, follow the hedge, over another stile and along to the
corner of the field, then turn left and follow the hedge for about two hundred yards
and climb a stile into Bratch Common Road. Turn left and after about two hundred
yards at the junction with Trysull Road turn right to The Bratch.
10. Continue up Bratch Lane to pass under the bridge and turn left up to the Car park at
Wombourne Station.

Walking is not only fun, it is an excellent form of exercise. Evidence shows

that walking is playing an important role in the prevention of ill health.
