Reston,

Dear Customer’s
Carl Hutzler,First Name,

Thank you for choosing ecobeco to provide you with the critical information that you need to improve the
comfort, safety and energy efficiency of your home.

In this report, I have provided you with a prioritized list of improvements. I have estimated the costs of
implementing each measure along with applicable incentives and/or rebates, and I have also estimated the
annual utility savings that you would receive from implementing these measures. This enables me to
estimate your payback period. Then, I provide a link to ecobeco's sustainability web site that contains
information on tax credits and rebates, and gives some easy tips that can help you “green” your lifestyle. I will
contact you shortly to talk to you about my findings. Your photos appear at the end of this report.

To make sure you have the necessary resources and information to get the work done, I have provided expert
contractor referrals and other resources at the end of this document. With your permission, I am happy to
make referrals for you and I will speak directly to the contractor so they fully understand your specific
situation. Should you have any questions along the way, I am happy to speak with you.

As a part of my service, I will do a follow-up and conduct a series of brief tests to measure the effectiveness of
the work completed and also test for specific health and safety issues as applicable. This follow-up typically
occurs after you have completed air sealing, insulation and weatherization work that will reduce the leakiness
of your home’s envelope.

Thank you for choosing ecobeco. We hope that you will consider us when recommending home energy
audits to your friends.

Sincerely,

Curt Christenson

Federal and Local Tax Codes may provide tax incentives that apply to your purchases for residential energy efficiency for energy
efficiency devices/property/materials placed in service in 2009 or 2010. Please consult your tax advisor to understand if these
incentives apply to you. You can find more information on these incentives later in this document.

¥ Annual Savings are modeled by software provided by Maryland Home Performance with ENERGY STAR. Models assume no
change in behavior relative to appliance usage and home temperature requirements. Through behavioral changes, you can save
additional amounts.

Additional Information on Incentives and Greening Your Lifestyle

The Database of State Incentives for Renewable Energy (DSIRE) tracks incentives at federal, state, local and utilities around the
country. ecobeco's sustainability web site also provides a list of the most common incentives for ecobeco customers. For tax
credits, please consult the IRS or your tax advisor to determine whether these incentives apply to you.

You can also learn about how to "Green" your lifestyle by downloading our "Ten Ways to Live Sustainably", and the Chesapeake Bay
Foundation's "Detoxify Your Home" and "Ten Things You Can Do To Save the Bay" by visiting ecobeco's "sustain" website at:

Other Recommendation Notes:

The cost analysis does not take into consideration the price of sealing/replacing the recessed lights as I believe
you said you would do that yourself. I have included the estimate in case that has changed.

There are also rebates that were (briefly) available in VA. I wasn't sure if you were able to reserve funds from
those programs but the estimated rebates are below:

$354 VA Energy Efficiency Rebate: 20% cost of Air Sealing & Insul.
$250 VA Energy Efficiency Rebate for energy audit
