NOTICE OF WITHDRAWAL
SUB15. 900 Block of Creekside Drive SE
On March 10, 2016, the Community Development Department received a written notice from
Alan M. Sorem, attorney for applicant Creekside Golf Course LLC, requesting to withdraw the
application for a 4-lot subdivision at the northwest corer of Creekside Drive SE and Crooked
Stick Loop SE (200 Block of Creekside Drive SE). The applicant had previously appealed the
staff decision on the application to the Planning Commission.
SRC 300.230 provides that an application may be withdrawn by the applicant at any time prior
to issuance of the decision if the owner or contract purchaser consents in writing to withdraw the
application.
Further, if an application is withdrawn after the mailing of public notice, the Planning
Administrator shall send written notice stating the application has been withdrawn to all persons
who were provided mailed notice of the application or public hearing
Pursuant to SRC 300.230, the application for Subdivision Case No. 15-02 is withdrawn. The
public hearing on this matter that was scheduled for March 15, 2016 is cancelled.

Dear Honorable Commissioners:
| am writing you to withdraw Creekside Golf Course LLC's (Applicant) appeal of the Planning
‘Administrator's denial for Subdivision Case No. SUB1S-02. As you may be aware, Applicant has recently
worked with the members of the Creekside Homeowner's Association (the “Association’) in petitioning
the Board of Directors to hold a special meeting for the purpose of voting on whether or not to increase
the Association's assessments in exchange for farnily memberships to Creekside Golf Club, which will
include golfing privileges, access to the pool, fitness center, driving range, restaurant, and Pro Shop
discounts for all members of the Association. As of February 29”, Applicant has received petitions in
favor of a vote on Applicant's proposal from more than 30 percent of the members of the
Association, This vote Is critical to the Applicant's ability to operate Creekside Golf Club and the related
facilities in a sustainable manner in addition to the quality of life enjoyed by the surrounding property
‘owners. While the legal issue involved it the appeal was limited to a narrow question of law and did not
impact the operation of the golf course, Applicant desires to remove all doubt as to the potential impact
of the requested permit. Therefore, as attorney for the Applicant, please consider this letter a formal
notice of withdrawal for Subdivision Case No, SUB15-02. SRC 300.990.
