LOGISTICS HEAD

General Summary
Direct, manage and coordinate Logistics activities:
a. Purchasing (procurement of Materials and Services),
b. Warehouse (storage and releasing of Purchased Materials),
c. Stockroom (storage and releasing of Finished Products),
d. Delivery (market distribution of Finished Products).
Primary Responsibilities
1. Responsible for overseeing the inventory management process, defining
departmental strategies for appropriate inventory levels, eliminating obsolete and
off-spec material, and reduce aging material.
2. Create policies or procedures for logistics activities.
3. Develop methods for scheduling of raw materials from suppliers to support
manufacturing in achieving customer demand and minimizing cost impacts to GT
Cosmetics Manufacturing Inc.
4. Plan or implement material flow management systems to meet production
requirements.
5. Ensure Company is in compliance with laws and regulations regarding transportation,
including hazardous materials. Resolve any legal issues pertaining to
transportation/distribution.
6. Maintain Purchasing (Materials and Services), Warehouse (Storage of Materials,
Stockroom (Storage of Products), and Delivery (Product Distribution) by initiating,
coordinating and enforcing program operational and personnel policies and
procedures.
7. Safeguard warehouse and stockroom operations and contents by establishing and
monitoring security procedures and protocols
8. Participate in carrier management processes, such as selection, qualification, or
performance evaluation.
9. Ensure carrier compliance with company policies or procedures for product/raw
materials transit or delivery and other paid services.
10.Motivate, organize and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure set
productivity targets are met.
11.Participate in personnel development at all levels through talent acquisition,
performance management, providing opportunity for high performers, education,
communication, expectation setting, and self actualization.
12.Negotiate with suppliers or customers to improve supply chain efficiency or
sustainability.
13.Develop risk management programs to ensure continuity of supply in emergency
scenarios.
14.Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems or
processes, such as customer sales, order management, accounting, or shipping.
15.Direct or coordinate comprehensive logistical or reverse logistical functions for
product life cycles, including acquisition, distribution, internal allocation, delivery,
recycling, reuse, or final disposal of resources.
16.Direct inbound or outbound logistics operations, such as transportation or warehouse
activities, safety performance, or logistics quality management.

17.Perform related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates.
