Prepositions are of five different kinds:

Simple Prepositions
Simple prepositions are words like in, on, at, about, over, under, off, of, for, to
etc.
She sat on the sofa.
He is going to the market.
He fell off the ladder.
There is some water in the bottle.
She is about seven.

The cat was hiding under the bed.
Compound prepositions
Compound prepositions are words like without, within, inside, outside, into,
beneath, below, behind, between etc.
He fell into the river.
She sat between her kids.
He sat beside her.
There is nothing inside the jar.
The teacher stood behind the desk.
The boy ran across the road.
Double prepositions
Double prepositions are words like outside of, out of, from behind, from
beneath etc.
Suddenly he emerged from behind the curtain.
He walked out of the compound.
Participle prepositions
Participle prepositions are words like concerning, notwithstanding, pending,
considering etc.
There was little chance of success, notwithstanding they decided to go ahead.

phrases in any sentence. Usually preposition indicates the relationship between

Simple Prepositions
Simple preposition is used in simple sentences. The list of simple prepositions is

In, on, at, to, from, with, by etc.

Compound Prepositions
When we join two connect nouns, pronouns and phrases then we use
compound prepositions. Here is the list of simple prepositions.

When you want to express your feelings of sadness then you use these Interjection words like

When you want to express your feelings of being surprised then you use these Interjection words

because it can sometimes be difficult to express emotions in written language. Emoticons may
not be appropriate or possible under certain circumstances, so using interjections proves to be a
more viable option. Just remember all the substantial information provided in this article,

Types of Clauses
There are two major types of clauses main (or independent) clause and
subordinate (or dependant) clause.
The above sentence has two clauses He is buying a shirt and which looks very
nice. The clause He is buying a shirt expresses a complete thought and can alone
stand as a sentence. Such a clause is called main or independent clause.
While the clause which looks very nice does not express a complete thought and
cant stand as a sentence. It depends on another clause (main clause) to express
complete idea. Such a clause is called subordinate or dependent clause.
