Commercial Operations

and Consultant.
 Coordinating for the preparation of monthly billing for the project along with reviewing and approving
subcontractor bills as per progress of work at site.
 Preparing planning documentation, BOQ, review of tenders and preparation of reports to award the contract,
coordinating with Client and Contractor.

Arabian Sugar Plant


US $ 150 Million (approx).
Senior Planning Engineer
Presently working on The Arabian Sugar Plant is located in HIDD industrial area in Bahrain.
This plant will have a productivity of 1800MT/D. The major buildings inside the project are
white sugar warehouse, raw sugar warehouse, process building, bagging house & power
station.

Responsibilities:
 Preparation of Clause 14 Baseline Program for project at the tendering stage as per the scope of work using
Primavera 6.
 Complete resource planning including labour & non labour (Machinery) as per project scope using productivity
norms.
 Review & analysis of Contract documents for each Construction Package and advice the Projects Manager of any
planning deficiencies from scheduling point of view.
 Cost loading and monitoring the cash flow & project progress using SPI, CPI & Earned Value Analysis.
 Preparation of detail documents for extension of time (EOT) for the project.
 Preparation & submission of Progress Reports/Charts through Project Management Software Primavera6 and
submitting to the Department Heads, Client, Consultant and Main Contractor.
Other Projects:
 Interior Fit-out for PAL ZILERI (Italy) retail shop - Womens Boutique at Bahrain World Trade Centre. Project Cost
BD 135,000.000.
 Interior Fit-out for VITOLs corporate office at Bahrain World Trade Centre. Project Cost BD 220,000.000.
 Interior Fit-out for Villa 91at Durrat Al Bahrain (one of the world's most distinctive island cities). Project Cost BD
180,000.000.
Key Highlights:
 Due to my good project management skills my company received few new projects from previous project client.
 Using primavera and project management skills my company has been able to complete two projects on
schedule.
 Seeing my project management skills my company has selected me to go for PMP certification on company
expense, the 35 PDUs for the same has already been completed.
 Due to proper resource levelling through primavera and incorporation of compulsory look ahead schedule for all
the sites my company has been able to save a good amount of money.
 Apart from planning I am also responsible for complete project coordination between our team, Client and the
Main Contractor. The project coordination has helped our company to solve many critical issues on right time.

Key Deliverables:
 Responsible for preparation of Clause 14 Baseline Program for project at the tendering stage as per the scope of
work in Primavera version P3.1 & P6.
 Developed the (MTS) level 4 integrated EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) schedule based on
contract requirements in cooperation with the Managing Contractor on Primavera.
 Updated and reviewed the BSC (Balanced Score Card) for projects. Conducted several presentations for the
site team in order to highlight the importance of BSC.
 Created & updated logs for several departments through online documentation system ACCONEX.
 Prepared tender program during the tendering stage for new projects and proposed the resource requirements for
the same.
 Coordinated with Consultant, Managing Contractor & local authorities (ADDC, ETISALAT, Civil Defence) for work
inspections and approvals.

range of 25 themed attractions for the entire family. Covering 200,000 m2, Ferrari
World Abu Dhabi is the worlds largest indoor theme park, sitting under a roof
designed in the style of the classic double-curve body shell of an F1 Ferrari.

Planning Engineer.
The project Central Market redevelopment comprises of 3 towers in the heart of Abu
Dhabi's Central Business District. The contract for Central Market was the largest
single building contract to be awarded in Abu Dhabi.

Key Highlights:





Due to my excellent contribution in managing the Ferrari World Theme park project I was awarded as the Best
Employee Award while working with Voltas Limited.
Just after 6 months from my joining the company at the post of planning engineer, the management found me
capable of handling two big projects at the same time.
Being a new employee and just a fresh pass out from NICMAR I headed the entire planning team for a world class
Ferrari World project.
Apart from my normal project work I was also part of the tendering team, I helped the team in preparation of
project schedule, time related contractual milestone review and resource assessment. We as a tendering team
bagged some of the best and biggest projects that our organization had ever been awarded so far.
I was also part of the Project Management Office for which I was the only person selected by the Director of
Projects for managing the planning part of PMO.
I commenced my career as Modeling and Designing Engineer from Jun'04-Aug'06 at Satyam Computer
Services Limited, India and later changed my field to Construction and Project Management.
