To present the actual risks of the LNG industry
To present the ways to limit / reduce / mitigate / avoid those risks

during design
To present the ways to cope with an LNG emergency during
operations

while presenting most of the options available in terms of process


technology

TEACHING METHOD
Presenting sketches and pictures of specific equipment used in

LNG industry and pointing out the weak points, the risks
associated with each piece of equipment.
Presenting with pictures and videos the actual behavior of LNG
when its normal confinement is lost.

Safety problems common to natural gas at, or near, ambient

temperature (CO2, H2S, mercaptans, hydrates) and with the gas


treatment plants (hazardous electrical zones, protection of turbine
