Preface
The document defines the installation inspection items for the ZXSDR B8200
(V4.0) indoor base band pool. It is prepared for the field engineering personnel
and quality management personnel to check the installation quality after
hardware installation of the ZXSDR B8200 (V4.0) product. It is not a guide
document for installation. For specific installation specifications, refer to related
technical documentation of the product.
The items not specified in this document should be checked in compliance with
the technical proposal, engineering design, product acceptance specifications,
operator’s standards, or the local national standards. Processes and results
that are in conflict with the articles containing “must”, “prohibited” and “should
not” in the above documents are serious errors; others are common errors. If
any conflicts occur between this document and technique standards, follow the
latter.
Contents
5. Water supply pipes, drainpipes, gas pipes, and fire protection pipes
are prohibited in the equipment room.
9. If the soil resistivity of the site is lower than 700Ω·m, the ground
resistance for the site should be less than 10Ω. Otherwise, the
equivalent radius of the ground grid should be at least 20m, and
horizontal radiant ground conductors that are 20~30m long should
Distance between the 19-inch installation rack and the front row
of equipment should be at least 400mm.
Distance between the of 19-inch rack support pole and the wall
behind (or row of racks behind) should beat least 400mm.
4. Expansion bolts shall be installed correctly and securely, and all the
insulating washers, flat washers, spring washers, bolts and nuts
shall be installed in the correct sequence, without reverse
installation. Tighten moment of M12 bolt shall not be less than
45Nm.
2. The cable tray and the wall or the cabinet row shall keep parallel,
with 2mm of horizontal deviation per meter allowed.
3. The cable tray shall be level or plumb, and the specifications of the
level irons shall be consistent. Both ends of the level iron shall be
close to the flat steels of the tray and the level iron clips. The level
irons and flat steels of the cable tray shall be perpendicular to each
other.
5. The level irons of the cable tray shall be evenly spaced. If they
obstruct cabling, the spaces can be adjusted appropriately.
6. The troughs shall be installed in a straight, flat and secure way. The
troughs in the same line shall be aligned, with 2mm of deviation
allowed at the joints of two troughs.
7. The protection ground of the cable tray shall comply with the
engineering design requirements.
10. The expansion bolts to fasten all supports shall have the same
surplus length (about 5mm of bolt rod left outside the nut) after they
are tightened.
11. When cable trays go through the hollow space under the floor or
through the wall holes, protection frames shall be used. After the

12. The indoor cable trays shall be grounded reliably. For the long
cable trays, it is recommended to ground the tray once every 5
meters with multi-strand copper wire, whose diameter is at least
16mm2.
13. The indoor cable tray shall not have electric connection with the
outdoor one.
5. Cable troughs shall be used for cables laid in the wall or under the
floor.
3. The tie specification is right. The larger the sectional area is, the
longer and wider ties should be used (to sustain large pull forces).
Avoid using the ties in serial connection. If the ties have to be used
in serial connection, at most two ties can be connected.
4. The cables shall not loosen in the ties. The ties shall face a
consistent direction. The intervals between the ties shall be even,
tidy, and consistent with the intervals of cable tray crosspieces

(usually 300mm~700mm).
5. The surplus part of the tie shall be cut off. For the indoor tie, the
surplus part shall be completely cut off from the buckle. For the
outdoor tie, the surplus part shall be neatly cut, with 2mm left from
the buckle. It is prohibited to mix the black ties with the white ones.
White ties shall be used indoors.
2. The cut ends shall be covered with proper tubes or wrapped with
insulating tapes. The color of the tubes and tapes should be
consistent with the cables (except the yellow-green PGN cables).
3. For the same kinds of cables, the length of the cable cut ends shall
be the same and so as the tubes and insulating tapes. The
deviation shall not exceed 5mm.
4. The welded cable shall not have open joints, false welding, missed
welding, wrong welding or mixed welding. The core wires shall be
close to the terminal. The joints shall have no sharp tips or lumps.
The insulating layers of the core wires shall not be burnt. And the
length of copper wires exposed in the air shall not exceed 2mm.
6. When the cables are connected to the copper bar, the oxide layer of
the copper bar at the grounding point shall be removed.
2. The wiring terminals shall match the diameter of the power cables
and the ground cables. The core wires shall be tidily trimmed and
they shall not be clamped and connected to small wiring terminals.
3. Power cables and ground cables shall be clamped reliably, and the
core in the terminal shall not be moveable.
4. The clamping part of the wiring terminal shall be covered with hot-
shrinkable tube or at least two layers of insulating tapes, without
exposing the naked core or copper lug.
9. When the power cables are crimped and connected, each bolt can
support at most two wire terminals, and these two terminals shall
cross over rather than overlap.
10. Before power cables and ground cables are connected to the power
wiring terminals, use pliers to twist the cabling shape. The cabling
routes should be straight and cables should be bundled neatly.
During the connection, the remote cables shall be connected to the
outer wiring terminals and the near cables to the inner wiring
terminals.
11. The power lugs shall be close to the cabinet wiring panel and the
incoming mode of the power cables shall be consistent to their
cabling mode.
14. For the indoor ground bar, each ground bolt can only connect one
protective ground cable.
2. The end of the tail fiber protection tube that enters the rack or the
tail fiber trough shall be extended to the inside of the rack or tail
fiber trough and fixed. There shall be no weight on the protection
tube.
3. When the fiber is distributed via the fiber distribution box, the end of
the tail fiber protection tube shall not be more than 0.5m away from
the fiber distribution box.
4. The cable ties to fasten the tail fibers inside the rack shall be nylon
adhibit ties. And the tail fibers shall be able to be drawn freely in the
cable ties.
5. The tail fibers shall be laid straightly. There shall be no other cables
on their top. And they shall be kept from the sharp edges of other
objects.
6. The cut end of the protection tube shall be neat without burrs. The
joint between two tubes shall be wrapped with electrical insulating
7. The excessive tail fibers shall be coiled inside the tail fiber box, or
coiled with a diameter over 80mm and then fixed.
9. The cut end of the trunk cable shall not hurt the core wires.
10. The welding joints of the trunk cables shall not have open joints,
false welding, missing welding, wrong welding, or mixed welding.
The cores shall closely fit with the terminals. The welding point shall
not have sharp edge or lump, and the insulation layer of the cable
shall not be burned during welding. The exposed copper wires shall
not be longer than 2mm.
11. The reserved cables on the back of the DDF and ODF terminal
plates shall be neat with consistent radian and length. The length of
the reserved cables shall ensure that the terminal plates can be
freely turned in debugging.
