TRENTON Donald Trumps popularity soared as he
billed himself as the ultimate outsider repulsed by establishment politics on both sides of the aisle.
You wouldnt know that from looking at his New Jersey delegates list.
Trump voters in the June 7 presidential primary will
be asked to back a roster loaded up with veteran political insiders, operatives, lobbyists, county party bosses
and elected officials, including Gov. Chris Christie.
Scheduled on the last day of the nominating calendar, the June 7 winner-take-all primary could be pivotal
in determining whether Trump secures the nomination
ahead of the Republican National Convention.
Trump leads the GOP contest with 992 delegates, according to the Associated Press. He needs 1,237 delegates to clinch his partys nomination on the first ballot;
Cruz follows with 562 and Ohio Gov. John Kasich has

WEST LONG BRANCH - Its a time of reckoning for

Woodrow Wilson at Monmouth University.
The campus is in the throes of a kind of introspection now spreading across the nation, considering
whether the former presidents name should be stricken from the iconic Wilson Hall. Some call it a necessary conversation while others regard it as political
correctness run amok.
The mansion bears the touches of the 20th centurys
finest artists, but some here worry that Wilsons racist
history he was a white supremacist who erased even
modest gains made by blacks of his era is a stain that
detracts from the buildings beauty and the schools
aim of inclusion.
The former president and New Jersey governor
joins a growing list of departed luminaries and enduring symbols as well facing fresh scrutiny for forgotten or overlooked history, much of it tied to the nations earliest struggles over race.
