Early Man in North American
Anthropologists and archaeologists say that humans did not come from the Americas. There has
been no evidence of Homo erectus have been discovered in the Americas, only Homo sapiens and
modern humans have been found during archaeological investigations. So, the first Americans must
have come from somewhere else. Scientists now believe that the first Americans must have come from
Asia through the Bering Strait.
The Bering Strait is about thirty fathoms deep and fiftysix miles wide. To the south of the Strait
is the Bering Sea which is four hundred and fifty feet deep to thirteen thousand feet deep. To the north
of the Bering Strait is the Chukchi Sea with a depth of twenty to thirty fathoms. Both the Bering and
the Chukchi Seas have a flat plainlike floor that is about one thousand three hundred miles wide from
north to south. The two seas are connected by the Bering Strait that separates Asia and the Americas.
Geographically, it is possible to determine and prove that early Americans could have come
across the Bering Strait. The Bering Strait separates North America from Asia which is the closest
piece of land that connects the Americas to other continents. Scientists believe that in the past there was
more Ice and less water, making it possible for the bottom of the Bering Strait to be above sea level.
There is evidence that the sea had less water is that matter from a land environment was found in the
the Gulf of Mexico thirty miles from the shore that is dated as being forty thousand years old which is
about the time that early humans could have migrated to the Americas. Scientists have also found coral
several thousand feet below sea level that could only have lived no lower than three hundred feet below
sea level. This signifies that water had been significantly less in the past so that early Americans could
cross the Bering Strait on it floor.
It is also possible to biologically prove that Asians and Americans are related using ear wax and
blood types. According to scientific data, only Native Americans and North Eastern Asians have a rh
positive blood type of one hundred percent while Europeans and Africans have a Rh positive blood type
of eightyfive and ninetytwo point five percent. Scientific data also shows that while Europeans and
Africans have at least ninetynine percent moist earwax , Northeast Asians and Native Americans both
have dry percentage significantly over fifty percent. This shows that Native Americans and Asians are
very closely related.
The Bering Strait was a bridge between the two continents. Anthropologists say that Asians and
Native Americans are related to each other. Scientists have proof that the first Americans came from
Northeast Asia to the Americas over the Bering Strait.
