PLANNING

The Specialist For trading Contracting and Engineering services consider planning as a
integral part of any project. The planning stage prior to commencement of the works is
critical in the transition from design to procurement, from procurement to Construction,
and finally through to Commissioning and final close out.

We take an extreme interest in the overall project programme to identify the needs for
critical systems to be brought on line as early as possible within the construction cycle.
By doing this we can make sure that the ‘live’ status of early utility systems will benefit
progressive system handover and commissioning of the remaining systems.

We ensure that the planning programme remains a ‘live’ tool throughout the project
lifetime where we offer assistance with progress input and automatically run metric
lifetime,
calculations that can be measured against the ‘timeline’ to identify where differentials in
the schedule could impact on the overall time frame for completion.

Individual priority systems are segregated from the overall programme schedule and
tracked independently as ‘milestone’ line items in order to assure dependency for
follow on systems.
The completion of all systems are reliant on the best information available for smooth
transition through to completion

Where specific consideration is given to a critical programme aspect, we have the

facility and experience within the company to be able to review the overall schedules
submitted by the individual contracting entities and assist in preparing an overall
commissioning and turnover schedule for the project in line with the clients start-up
needs.
