Aum Divine Consciousness is a registered forum

engaged in Spiritual upliftment and in self
awa re n e s s to wa rd s a c h i e v i n g U n i t y i n
Consciousness. As a part of our endeavor towards
achieving this goal, we undertake Annadhanam,
deserving poor girls' marriage, poor children's
education etc. and other various social activities.

Swayamvaram was a practise in ancient India,

where a girl of marraigable age chose a life partner
from a list of suitors.

Aum Divine Consciousness was started formally

half a decade ago by His Holiness Guruji Tapasyogi
Shri.R.Mohanakrishnaswamy, who has over the
years made innumerable
people from different walks
of life realize that effortless
and spontaneous living is
possible now, if one sincerely
follows the spiritual
practices both internally and
externally irrespective of the
faith one professes.
H i s H o l i n e s s G u r u j i Ta p a s y o g i
Shri.R.Mohanakrishnaswamy, holds satsang and
meditation sessions online twice a day both in the
morning and evening. Apart from this, he also gives
personal audience on prior appointment to anyone
who wishes to learn and practice meditation.

This initiative started many years ago has its

genesis in the ancient Indian Wisdom that feeding
the poor not only wipes away the pangs of hunger
of the needy, but also ensures the giver untold
blessings for his kind act of feeding through his own
hands.
This program has today blossomed into a
movement involving thousands of people who
come, eat and feed others through their own hands
every Saturday and Sunday in Chennai. In future,
Aum Divine Consciousness plans to extend this
activity 365 days a year.
This is a noble initiative that is beyond Caste,
Creed and Religion, unified through the common
goal of wiping away hunger and bringing a smile of
contentment on the face of the giver and the taker.

Giving a modern interpretation to this ancient

practise, Aum Divine Consciousness has been
conducting Swayamvaram for the Hearing and
Speech Impaired people with the purpose of
bringing together this less privileged group and
providing them a forum for their life enrichment on
their own.
During this unique Swayamvaram, special "signinterpreters" assist the differently abled persons
understand and interact between themselves and
and others.
The last edition of this Swayamvaram held in
June 2015 was a
tremoundous success
with more than a 100
participants coming
together with their
families and with a
couple of families
finding a bride /Groom
of their choice.
