(a) answer at least 2 comprehension questions correctly.

Starter: Pupils identify and say aloud the occupations shown on
the cards.
Activities:
1. Teacher reads the phrases and pupils follow.
2. Pupils read the phrases as a group.
3. Discussion on the phrases.
4. Pupils answer the comprehension questions.
5. Teacher guides pupils.
Plenary: Pupils recall and say aloud the name of the occupations
learnt.
