INTRODUCTION

PT Central Pratama Power is a private

company that produces electricity for the
area of Bekasi. The electrical energy is
used to meet the needs of electricity in the
plant within the group his company and
some excess is sold to the local power
company. PT Central Pratama Power was
founded in 2010 and produces electrical
energy by 25 MW and is trying to increase
the production capacity of electricity to be
40 MW.
As a relatively new company, PT X has
many problems faced in developing
business in the field of electrical power
source. The main problem that often
occurs is the raw material supply of coal
from Sumatra and Borneo. Coal journey
by ship was also major obstacles, not to
mention the coal quality is not good
because a lot of mixed soil. Increase in the
production of electrical energy is required
due to the increasing demand of consumer
companies that have improved an
automation system that requires a lot of
machines to simplify the production
process.
PT Central Pratama Power decided to
terminate a cooperation on the two
companies, the provider of coal and
transportation companies that ship coal
from Sumatra and Kalimantan to PT
Central Pratama Power to Bekasi. Both
companies are considered less provide a
quality and responsibility for the goods
and services they provide. Even sometimes
both companies are blaming the mistake.
With the increase in the production
capacity of electric energy will be carried
out by PT Central Pratama Power, then

there must be also increased capacity and

quality of coal supplied from a partner
provider and service provider partners of
shipping the coal.
PT Batubara Lintas Nusa also a private
company
engaged
in
mining,
manufacturing, and to direct sales to
companies that need coal. PT Batubara
Lintas Nusa has been established since
1997 and based in Bontang, East
Kalimantan. In 2010 when PT Central
Pratama Power was made, had been a
negotiation between the two companies.

decline in the market trend of coal into a
product of PT Batubara Lintas Nusa, PT
Central Pratama Power hope to have the
business cooperation contract with ease
and at a price that is not high. PT Central
Pratama Power also hope to get
competitive prices due to PT Central
Pratama Power not just want PT Batubara
Lintas Nusa party as a provider of coal, but
also as menyedia the coal transportation
services.
But in terms of PT Batubara Lintas Nusa
also has a strength where PT Central
Pratama Power squandered an opportunity
to do business with PT Batubara Lintas
Nusa in the past time. Pity will not lower
the cost to sell coal with proven quality
nationally.
