The following tables shows the results of the questionnaire survey answered by the employers
who have kasambahays in their houses. 25 employers were surveyed as respondents for this
portion.
Table E.1 Do you know that there is a law about kasambahay?

The table shows that only 10 respondents are aware that there is a law governs the right of the
kasambahay, that 15 respondents are not aware that there is a law about kasambahay. This shows
that more that half of the respondents are not aware of the the batas kasambahay as for 60
percent.

This table show that the implementation of batas kasambahay is properly promulgated as there is
a perfect percentage of 100 percent who receives the right amount of salary. It shows that none of
the respondent answered that his/her kasambahay has a monthly salary below that of the
minimum wage prescribed by the law in the province.

The table shows that the majority of the kasambahays are getting a rest day pertaining to the
question on the employer giving the kasambahay a rest day every week is 84 percent. It shows
that the law is properly implemented

This part of the results show that all of the kasambahays are properly enjoying their rights as
they can have their annual leave wherein they could go back to their respective houses. As 25
respondents out of 25 voted for yes. A total of 100 percent which shows that the batas
Kasambahay is property implemented.

This result shows that a lot of employers does not issue receipts or any pay slips with their
kasamabahay. It proves that the issuing of pay slips written in the provision is not properly
implemented by most households.

In this section, it shows that 22 respondents gets their 13th month pay or better known as
Christmas bonus while only 3 respondents don't get Christmas bonus from their employer. The
part of the Act which shows that the kasambahay are entitled to get 13th month pay are properly
and effectively promulgated as 88 percent gets their bonus, against 12 percent who dont.

The result of this representation shows that only 4 respondents out of 25 respondents has a
membership with Social Security System, it goes to show that the supposed benefit of those
kasambahays that they can get from SSS are not effectively promulgated. 84 percent of the
kasambahays in St. Francis, Meycauayan are not registered. The results shows that the law is not

properly implemented and promulgated with regards to the provision that the employers are
tasked with the responsibility of paying for their Kasambahays SSS contribution.

The table shows that 3 out of the 25 respondents are member of Phil Health. The findings mean
that the law is not properly implemented with regards to the provision that the employers are
tasked with the responsibility of paying for their Kasambahays Philhealth that is must be
included with the benefits that the kasambahay should be getting, as there are 88 percent of
kasambahays which are not registered to Phil health.

The table shows that 2 out of the 25 respondents are member of Pag-ibig. The findings mean that
the law is not properly implemented with regards to the provision that the employers are tasked
with the responsibility of paying for their Kasambahays Pag-ibig that is must be included with
the benefits that the kasambahay should be getting, as there are 92 percent of kasambahays
which are not registered to Pag-ibig.

The results of this table shows that 25 kasambahays are getting enough rest a day compare to the
1 that doesn't get his/her proper rest a day. In this part of the provision, it shows that the section
where the rights of kasambahay to get rest is properly approved by the results as it shows that
100 percent are getting a decent rest for every 24-hours.

Table E. 12 Do you have a written agreement with your kasambahay?


This shows that both employer and kasambahay should have a written contract for them to sign
only 4 out of 25 respondents signed a contract between the employer and employee relationship.
The conclusion is that the provision of the law that states that the domestic worker and their
employer should have a written contract is not properly implemented as 84 percent of the
population surveyed are not working that is being documented by the contract.
