aggregation.
A member of the product management team, overseeing the user experience and common functionality of
the companies SaaS platform to deliver workspace aggregation and classroom management for the
K-20 market allowing teachers to stream and record live video content using webRTC/ORTC standards.
Responsible for delivering product specifications and prototypes to development teams, and
communicating market expectations and realizations to the executive team.

Define and maintain personas for market buyers and users

Product Owner of the web and desktop consoles; charged with consolidating five products into one
console, to deliver a unified privileged account management experience to Dells customers. Member of
Dells corporate UX leadership group, working to establish a consistent design language and brand
message throughout all of the Software Group.

Introduced the concept (and a member) of the Product Owner Group. This group focuses on three
core strengths: Business, Technology and User Experience/Engagement. The Product Line Manager,
who focuses on the outbound/customer facing and business (i.e. P&L) aspects of the product, leads
the group. The other disciplines act as technical PMs running their own scrum teams.
Worked with the CTOs office to establish a common UX group, that focuses on data and iterative
driven design call, User Centered Design.
Introduced and establish Scrum and the engineering development process for the Privileged Account
Management (PAM) Team.

Manager of five-person corporate User Experience team and Product Owner of LANDesks dashboard
framework. Responsible for providing innovative UI design and usability support to Architecture, Software
Development, and Product Management teams using a very wide variety of technologies, including Visio,
Balsamiq, Adobe Illustrator, Blend Sketchflow, MS Expression Blend 4 and 5 (to create Silverlight, WPF
and HTML5 prototypes), Microsoft Word, Adobe InDesign, Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server, and

design, visual design and usability support to Architecture, Software Development, and User Centered
Design teams. Designed and specified product UIs, analyzed and investigated application usability, and
conducted field studies. Reported to corporate User Center Design group.

Member of Product Owner group of Symantec Protection Center; led design process of the
development cycle for Norton Confidential, Norton Ghost, Backup Exec System Recovery, Symantec
Management Platform and Symantec Protection Center to ensure consistency and usability of user
interfaces and the overall user experience: Led usability studies, user workshops, and focus groups
throughout the United States, and presented findings to development teams and upper management;
provided development teams with the proper specifications and assets to create the new user
interface.
Created and maintained UI prototypes through Microsoft Expressions Blend and Adobe Flex/Flash
and Flash Catalyst.
Took leadership role on four-person team, designing and implementing the WPF/Silverlight processes
for next generation Symantec security console(s).
