Mary Picasso showed his exceptional talent from a very young age. He
learned how to draw before he learned how to talk. His father got a
job as a drawing teacher at a college. He watched his father paint
and had the chance to help him. After that, his father and many
people realized that he was a genius. He disappointed those who
wanted him to become a traditional painter, because he broke the
rules of artistic tradition with his strange and powerful paintings. He
changed our ideas about art. Picasso created more than 6000

paintings, drawings and sculptures. Today a Picasso costs millions.
