full-time university students must have a discounted METRO
Q Fare Card or METRO Day Pass to pay the reduced fare.
Elementary school students may pay the discounted fare in
cash (on the bus only) without showing an ID. Middle and
high school students may pay the discounted fare using
cash (bus only) by showing their student ID card. Los
jubilados, personas con discapacidad, titulares de Medicare
y estudiantes universitarios de tiempo completo deben tener
un METRO Q Fare Card con descuento o un METRO Day

***Transfers are free and valid for three hours of travel in one
direction with a METRO Q Fare Card or METRO Day Pass.
Transfers are automatically added to the card with the first
tap. When transferring to a service of greater cost, within the
three hour transfer period, the difference will be deducted
from the card aboard the next bus. Park and Ride paid fares
do not count toward the METRO Day Pass benefit. Las
combinaciones son gratuitas y vlidas por tres horas de
viaje en una misma direccin con una METRO Q Fare Card
o un METRO Day Pass. Las combinaciones se agregan
