100% ATTENDANCE AWARD

The two awards constitute part of the Companys appreciation towards employees commitment,
loyalty, and as motivating factors to instill high sense of responsibility and dedication to the
Company. Every department is to nominate two candidates to the Best Employee Award 2008 one
for Junior Executive and the other for Non-Executive categories. In the event no one is qualified,
there shall be no nomination from the said department. All nominees will then be evaluated by a
special committee elected by the Company. As for the 100% Attendance Award 2008, candidates
will be selected through the attendance record.
A)

BEST EMPLOYEE AWARD


Focus mainly on attitudes, knowledge and leadership qualities. Please refer to the criteria
guideline provided.

B) 100% ATTENDANCE AWARD


No absenteeism. This is one criteria which have direct impact on productivity, good health
care and self discipline. We award every employees with zero medical leave and
absenteeism.
Please read the criteria guidelines provided and fill up the Nomination Form. Submission should
reach the Senior Manager - Admin & Development latest by 12 December 2008.

Criteria For Best Employee Award


This Award was first implemented for year 2005 and the same will be continuously presented every
year. Candidates will be nominated by Heads of Department and final selection will be done by a
Jury Panel appointed by the Management. Eligible candidates are from Junior Executives group
and Non-Executives.

Consider whether the employee is courteous and disciplined in carrying


out his / her duties.
Consider the efficiency of the employee in completing his / her task.
Consider working relationship established with fellow employees. Does
the individual coordinate with other members in the organisation to
accomplish common objective.
Consider the quality and the quantity of work contributed by the
employee in accomplishing his / her task.
Does the employee believe in and defend convictions and follow
through on his / her superiors ideas to carry out the task. Are mistakes
admitted and attempts made to learn from them.
Does the employee has a good attendance record with minimum sick
leave, accidents, etc.
Consider combination of job interest, dedication and willingness of
employee to extend himself to complete assigned task. Also consider
whether employee make useful and worthwhile suggestions for
improvement / initiative actions in solving problem.
Consider the employees reliability, accuracy and quality of work output.
Consider the reliability and trustworthiness of employee in completing
given assignments and willingness to accept extra responsibility.
Consider whether the employee has good attitude towards his / her
work and willingness to accept criticism
