firms.
Wrote 100 pages proposed code tuning spec report and provide tuning strategies with
about 30% slowest ABAP codes changes, including CMOD functions, BADis,
transformations, typically many start and end routines. F4 and variable BADis, etc, gain
90% performance improvements.
Implemented all proposed changed after Canada portion go-live as 13.5 days bench
mark. Proposed target improvement result was less than one day. The actual result in
the September US portion go-live was less than 10 hours for the whole initial full loading.

Wrote white paper suggest KPMG make big changes to reduce the cube numbers on
the design in order reduce the production support team year end workloads and reduce
the risks of data lose. It was fully accepted by KPMG.
Completed complex HR WAD report with 9 complicated queries with dual structure, celleditor total and 9 queries in one web application.
Developed KPMG headquarter operational statistic template workbook for all firms in
order to collect data to generate whole company FI sentinel reports for very high level
decision makers. Changed and simplified original design with hierarchies into the

Changed the BADi fundamental structure to merge all implementations into one and use

Designed and implemented based on standard cube 0WBS_011, 0WBS_04 and
0PS_C02, 0PS_C03, and several fully customized ODSs cubes on FICO, and PS and
REFX modules.
Data sources being used: 0CO_OM_WBS_3, 6,7,8, 0PS_PRJ_DAT_2, etc.
Implemented 6 main reports and derived other 4 reports based on main reports by using
multi-provider, ODS and infosets.
Implemented multiple developer working with one module environment by using
ABAP/BADI.
Design complex data model to convert wide 42 key figure cube to a narrow cube by
using value type for reporting (0VTYPE).
Change the 0PROJECT, 0WBS_ELEMT master data to be delta loading time dependent
master data.
Set up start routines and update/transfer rules to extract custom data wherever
change data could not be obtained through normal means such as change pointer
or delta mechanism
Completed over 10 queries, workbooks.
Setup periodic Data loads from R/3 and from a legacy system (flat files) containing
customer & sales information.
Create Web templates for transferring Bex reports to Portal with visual composer

Gather requirements and did gap analysis of eLedge and SAP ECC for record to
reporting processes.
Customized ZBPARTNER master data for consignee and consignor.
Created and customized cubes ZSLL_C01, ZSLL_C02, ZSLL_C03, (copied and
customized from 0SLL_XX) and DSO ZSLL_DS01, ZSLL_DS1B, ZSLL_DS02 and
ZSLL_DS03 (copied and customized from 0SLL_XX) for customs document, legal
control and discharge procedure ETL.
Created corresponding queries for GTS, including customs documents, export/import
legal control detail, discharge status and detailof customs procedures with economic
impact.
Remodeling MM and INV to meet headquarter reporting needs.
Extensive reporting on Info Cubes/ODS objects using BEx Analyzer/Explorer to
facilitate summarization of data. Created local and global workbooks, and template
workbooks.
Attend steering committee meeting and revise the BI portion design to meet global
project needs.

including BEX reporting part.
Enhanced FI AA BW module to add additional over 20 Z-fields in the extractor structure.
Enhanced PCA design to include over 15 Z fields.
Completed over 25 queries, workbooks.
Create export data source on the old production cubes to load historical data into the
new cubes by using loopback process technology.
Use several different ways to load historical data from old RE cubes to generate reports
with up to two years old data.
Planning for renting revenue and budget by using BPS.
The main satisfaction from client is that the new design covered all not only currently
being used but also potentially will be used fields to let client have much more flexibility
to revise/append their reports in the future without major changes in the ETL portion.
