PREREQUISITES:
Students MUST prepare to successfully complete the PALS
Provider Course. Before taking the course, students must be PALS Provider and PALS Renewal
proficient in the following: Courses
♥ Performing CPR skills using the 2005 ECC guidelines 2010 Schedule
♥ Reading and interpreting basic PALS EKG rhythm strips

♥ Knowledge Of basic PALS pharmacology
Saving the life of a child”
♥ Evaluating a child using the systematic approach to pediatric
assessment outlined in the PALS text
