The Environment
The following may be helpful to those with mobility or sensory difficulties.
The centre is a listed building set in sloping parkland and some of the listed design
features could prove problematic for those with mobility or sensory difficulties. There are
a number of wooded parking areas leading up a sloped drive to a stepped main entrance.
A ramped entrance is also available. Routes to the building include a mix of gravel and
hard surface comprising steps and ramp.
Due to listed design features, the entrance steps to the Reception areas are long and
wide and may prove difficult for people with mobility and visual difficulties, but Reception
and building management staff are available to assist. Inside the centre is on three
levels with half and full level changes, normally linked by staircases, some of which have
platform lifts available.
We welcome enquiries concerning the facilities and assistance which may be available.
