To the distinguished personels from the division of cabadbaran city, headed by our
officer incharge schools division superintendent, Dr. Lorenzo O. Macasocol, To my
fellow participants from the division of cabadbaran city, to the amazing and
impressive resource speakers, namely , engr. Eva C. Milan senior environmental
management specialists/city environment and natural resources officer- who taught
us to understand deeply the Republic Act 9003 the ecological solid waste
management act and cabadbaran city ordinances on solid waste management and
their mandates for implementation namely; 1. City ordinance no. 2011 019 ,
comprehensive anti littering ordinance and city ordinance no. 2010 007, otherwise
known as the No plastic Bag Day ordinance. To hon. Alicia c. funcion,
sangguniang panlungsod member, author of the city ordinance 2011 019, talk us
about some provisions on city ordinance no. 2011 019.
Mr. Jonivil l vidal, our division Education program supervisor in Science and
health, announced to us the guidelines on the National search for sustainable & eco
friendly schools.
Dr. Joel L. Pelenio, Education program supervisor in Music, Arts, PE and health,
and prime mover of this 2 day seminar. Delivered on us on the implementation of
solid waste management in schools.
A school and community visits from ( norcaces, casoces, cabinet es, caasinan es,

Specialist Division physical facilities coordinator explore the experience to us.
Our very own Officer in charge schools division superintendent, dr lorenzo o
macasocol, do the proccessing of observations and recommendations of the school
and community visits.
MRs. Jessie c torreon, division education program supervisor in LRMDS and
localization of teaching materials who shares differences on localization,
indigenization and conceptualization of teaching materials module on solid waste
management and workshop on the creation of teaching materials modules on solid
waste management.
Values integration and habit formation in solid waste management program in
schools were shared to us by Mrs. Marietta u bautista, division education
program supervisor in Edukasyon sa Pagpapakatao (ESP).
And One of the external observer, former schools division superintendent of the
agusan del norte,and the Dean of the Graduate studies of SJIT, Dr. Clara d
almendralejo shared important lines on success.
A privillage speech from Mrs. Jessica A. Cebrian, a principal Il from CASOCES,
shared experiences and ideas about Ecological solid waste management, as
consistence winners for said contest ESWM.
Having attended this 2 day challenging seminar workshop on the localization ,
indigenization and conceptualization of a proposed educational teaching material

for solid waste management integration, i would like to share some of my


impressions of this innovative seminar.
First, the seminar were very well organised in terms of structures, timeframes and
contents. From the start to the end, it went smoothly.
The activities were very informative and useful to us leaders. I can say that after
this, when we go back to our respective schools or in our own environment, we will
be proud to share what we have learned from this challenging seminar workshop.

Hayaan niyo pong ibahagi ko sa inyo ang some important lines , words and phrases
mula sa mga speakers:
1. We are not Now! This is not new to us! Since birth
2. level up na tayo! Adto ta sa segregation
3. segregation starts on our home.
4. the success of the program begin on us!
5. Role modeling is easier than done.
6. making learning more authentic.
7. deped core values activities : makadiyos, makatao, makakalikasan, makabansa.
8. if wealth is lost,then nothing is lost, if health is lost, then something is lost, but if
character is lost, then everything is lost.
9. Relating, expencing, applying, cooperating , transfering. REACT strategy.
10. let us walk the talk .. put ur pllan into action
11. . this program is not just for the competition. Let us put this into practice, a
habit and incorporate this in our life... (kailangan alamin, isapuso ,isabuhay at
maisagawa)

This seminar is not just an avenue for more learning but also to gain new friends
and strengthen bond with our co participants. The seminar has come to end but the
blessings are never ending. New tools, added knowledge and better working
etiquettes will surely maximize our portentials as educators and leaders as we are
one of the important agent of change to shape the minds of our future leaders.
