Task Suggested: Lesson 1 and 2 Ss have to write a post card to a friend, telling him/her about his/her last
vacations and also about the plans for the next school year. Lesson 3 and 4 Ss are asked to bring twho
pictures. One when they were 5 years old and a recent picture. They have to paste them to a cardboard and
write a comparison using the model: When I was 5 years old, I used to be small. Now Im 13 years old
and I am tall.

Task suggested: Lesson 5 and 6: Ss will be given a specifc topic: the earth, fashion, education,
natality. They have to write predictions for the future (2050) regarding the real state of things and
how they see the future. Ss present to the class and all together they decide on the high or low
posibility that the predictions occur.
Lessons 7 and 8: Ss have to imagine that they are about to graduate from High School. They will
write an e-mail to her/his best friend in other city telling him/her about thir plans for next year:
Model: I will start a career. I might not go abroad yet, until I study English. Ss share their plans
in pairs and find the commonalities intheir plans.

Task suggested: Lesson 9 and 10 Ss will work in cuples to plan a crazy weekend. They haver to
write a plan list with suggested activities: We could go to the amazon forest, We can pack aur
cameras. They have to write a note to their parents asking for permisson to do these activities and
take some items: Could we go tho the Amazon all by ourselves?, Can I take my psp dad?
Lesson 11 and 12: T will write 4 different place: The Sahara-dessert, the Artic, New York city and
the amazon Rain Forets, Ss will be divided in groups and using the model from p. 39 have to rite a
Planner for each of the places. Then, they report to the class and choose the more doable plan.

Practicing reading, writing and listening skills
Task suggested: Lesson 13 and 14: Individually Ss are going to create an avatar and they are
going ro describe it both, physically and his/her personality. Then Ss get in groups of 4, present
individually and choose one to represent them. When all groups present the chosen one, the whole
class votes for the most interesting. Groups cannot vote for their own.
Lesson 15 and 16: T will give each st an index card with a talent or quality. Ss have to create a
profile card describing themselves. Ex: using the information for lessons. Im tall, Im the yongest
in my family, I like to write poems but I dont like to read novels. They do not write their names
on the cards but have to remember the info, they wrote. Then T picks the cards and start giving
information: I know a person who is the yongest in his family. He is tall, he likes to read poems
but he doent like to read novels. Ss have to mingle and ask tag questions to find the person.
When one St finds him/her, he say it aloud and then T. gives another cards information. The person
who finds 5 people first wins and stops the game.
