Executive Summary
Nasco is a start-up company that will provide a broad range of industrial cleaning
and hygiene products to food processing industries. As we know food business in
Pakistan has grown rapidly in last decade which arise need to understand how food
products are being cooked/baked in factories. Consumer of Pakistan are now more
literate regarding quality and hygiene of food they eat so these growing trends in
market clicked idea in our mind that we should provide cleaning sanitization
products to food industry so that they can keep their production lines clean and
germs free.
There are many cleaning chemicals available in market like washing liquids but
those are not food grade. If you wash a conveyer belt with any detergent or liquid
(where fresh bread/Bun are being baked) that is not food-grade itll damage the
taste and smell of your food also you are not sure is that place 100% germs free or
not. So basically our idea is to introduce cleaning products in market those are foodgrade (if these chemical interact with food so there is no harm) as well as
disinfectant that clean germ from your production line.
The food industry in Pakistan is growing at a rapid pace mainly because of the
increase in population, urbanization and moderately rising household
spending. According to the 2012-13 annual report of the State Bank of Pakistan
(SBP), the food industry in Pakistan grew by 9.5% in FY 13, up from 5.9% in FY 12.
Another report by SBP showed that the food and beverages industry which has an
adjusted weight of 17.6% in LSM (large scale manufacturing) grew by 7.78% in the
first nine months of the current fiscal year.
So reviewing all market trends we have decide to enter into market being first
mover to introduce food grade cleaning and hygiene chemicals.

documented with Certificate of Analysis / Technical Data Sheet and Material Safety
Data Sheet (MSDS) to compliance validation clean-in-place (C.I.P), clean-out-ofplace (C.O.P) and manual cleaning applications.

distribution. Thus we can see how it involves everyone right from a small farmer to

disturbance in anyone phase can disrupt the entire cycle. The food industry in

Organization & Management

At startup we are going to have operations in Lahore and Islamabad with later
extension to Karachi and Sialkot marketplace. 4 each salesmen in Lahore and
Islamabad will market company in various industries with a follow-up staff in Lahore
head office. As well are initially shipments will be sent from Lahore warehouse to
Islamabad to minimize the inventory as well as warehouse cost. Manufacturing will
be done in main warehouse facility and raw material will be bought from local
market. We are 3 group members will be heading all department with mutual
decision making.

Marketing and Sales Strategy


Our products are unique into market so well be working on value base
marketing strategy with respect to pricing and door-to-door marketing for
introduction of business, personally sale personal will target industry for
getting orders because at start promotion is not needed because our
target is industry not consumer market.

Financial Management:
We have assigned Rs.1 million for startup of business. Detailed breakdown will be
presented to you in final submission of project. This 1 million includes all direct and
indirect cost for next 6 months. our target is to achieve breakeven point in first 3
months.
