EVP-SANICLAY MODEL PARAMETERS CALIBERATION

WITH BALLINA CLAY IN AUSTRALIA

Brief of Ballina Clay
Ballina clay represents the estuarine soft clays of high to extremely high plasticity from the
Richmond river valley in Ballina, the northern New South Wale in Australia.

Curve fitting C={3-20} by using CK0UE test. If suitable
value of C>8, then N should be slightly increased.
Simulating consolidation curve to select optimum value
of ki
????
Taking default value of 0.5. It should be changed to 0.2
or 0.3 during simulation.

Curve fitting by simulation

Curve fitting by simulation

Interpolating from yield loci fitting.

Based on compression curve of structured and
reconstituted sample.
Sf=Nc*/Nc, based on yield surface of structured and
unstructured sample.
