areas are staffed by volunteers committed to
providing a safe and comfortable environment
for your child. Each child is treatedwith the
care andconcernthat clearly demonstrates the
Lordslove.
Childrenbeginintheirclassroomwhere
theyaresignedinandassignedanumber.They
are signed out when you personally return to
pickupyourchild.(Itisimportantforthesafety
of your children that the adult who signs the
childin,isthesameadulttosignthechildout.

of their Sunday School experience. Besides
teaching Bible stories from the Little Ones
Curriculum and simple crafts, teachers also
beginteachingthechildrentositduringthestory
and worship time, and to pray before snacks

withhandsfolded.Thisisaveryimportanttime
as preschoolers are forming attitudes and
impressionstowardGod,thechurch,authority,
andspiritualtruths.Howtheyviewthemselves,
inrelationtoGodandothers,isinpartformed
bythe time theyspendat church.Our goal is
thattheyreceivelovingcareandasenseoftrust
upon which to build their future concepts of
God.

The vision of the Childrens Ministry is to

provideeachchildwithanatmospheretogrow
intotheimageofChrist.Welongtoseeineach
childthefruitofahungryandthirstyspiritfor
thethingsofGod,adesiretoshareChristwith
others,andahumble,submissivehearttoward
God as He works. We believe Spiritfilled
worshipandteaching,coveredwithloveanda
genuineinterestinthechildren, will form this
atmosphere.Wearemoreconcernedabouteach
childs personal relationship with our Savior
JesusChristandthedepthofthisrelationship,
than the social relationships offered through
functions.Wedesirethattheteachersmodelthe
Christianlifeforthestudentstofollow.
1st6th grades use the Calvary Chapel
ChildrensCurriculum,whichgoesthroughthe
Bible from Genesis through Revelation. These
gradesgathertogetherintheWorshipRoomfor
atimeofsinging,praising,andworshipingthe
Lord,thendismissbacktotheirclassroomsfor
Biblestudy,prayer,andactivities.
