Project Manager – Bridges

• Spearheading the project implementation team of UNOPS for 4 bridge construction at a cost of US$ 29
million.
• Review the design with the design team to confirm sustainability with the geotechnical investigations.
• Tendering, evaluation, negotiation and selection of Contractor. After intensive negotiation to bring down the
bid price by US$ 4 million.
• Providing specific technical support to site operation groups conferring with and directs personnel and
subcontractors engaged in planning and executing work procedures, interpreting specifications, and
coordinating various phases of construction to prevent delays
• Preparing RFI’s and coordinating Consultants for site instructions, and Site Superintendent, keeping all
reviewed drawing current and specifications updated as per addendums
• Maintaining the standard engineering and document control processes and systems on the ongoing
Projects in the Company to achieve consistency with other projects in the Company
• Coordinating the equipment reservations required, construction crews mobilizations for start to start works
