know what works and what doesnt.
They have a formula for generating
revenue and controlling expenses.
Its all good until the business
model needs to change.
Why would a successful company
want to change its business model?
New product competition
Disruptive technologies
Lower-cost competitors
Marketplace demands

Here are ways to change corporate DNA,
become truly agile, and achieve real
innovation:
Build a business model that thrives on
change
Be adaptive by continually making small
changes throughout the organization.
Diversify by allowing teams to try new ideas.
Re-architect and re-design then test, test,
test.
Reward people who innovate and drive new
ideas.
Never shrug-off a potential competitor even
if their approach is drastically different
Be open to partnerships with other big
companies and small potential rivals.

The challenge of building Agile success
extends much further than Agile
delivery of each project. Organizations
must understand the impact of broader
constraints across the business
processes.
As you begin the transformation,
analyzing the strengths, weaknesses,
opportunities, and threats that are
implicit in the change proposal can
provide valuable insight that will
influence the change management
plan. The common format used in
SWOT Analysis is a 2-by-2 matrix grid
that considers the four attributes
mentioned.

negotiation.

a good idea.
Ideally, IT and the business should
