A part-time contract is a form of employment that carries fewer hours per week
than a full-time job. Workers are considered to be part-time if they commonly work fewer
than 30 or 35 hours per week. Today, teenage students, the world over, have been
engaging in part time jobs, especially in the developed nations. Working and going to
school is greatly challenging. Both activities can be a rewarding experience or it can
bring some negative effects.

Argument

On the bad side, working and still maintaining a good grade at school is not easy.
It is really hard. Taking a part time job reduces your time for schoolwork. This less time
is the main negative impact. Consequently, many students who work part time fail to
perform at their best both on schoolwork and on examinations.

On the good side, a part time job helps students to get good financial condition
for living expenses. Not only about money, if it taken on responsibly, they can learn
discipline and applicable skills to expand their resume for future career.

Recommendation

Studying and working in the same time takes a lot of time and energy, so
students need to make sure to be able to manage their time and energy wisely.
However, if you are a student and want to take a part-time job, youd better think a
hundred times before you decide to take it.
