National Bike Month: A Blast in Sonoma County!

As a reward to Sonoma County bike riders for using their
bikes for transportation and recreation, SCBC, the City of
Santa Rosa, and the Rialto Theater hosted the first ever
FREE Bike-In Movie! Over 165 riders rode their bicycles
to the theater for a free showing of the two time Academy
Award nominee, Triplets of Belleville. It was a huge success
and fun event, a

News From the Petaluma Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee
Two stations were set up to distribute free helmets,
front and rear lighting systems, and bike safety
literature to bicyclists. Due to the positive response
and generous donations, a similar safety campaign is
being planned for October.
Active Petaluma bicyclists and PPBAC members have
established a regular all-levels Sunday morning ride
facilitated by a Yahoo group. Individuals interested in
exploring the Petaluma countryside by bike can meet
in front of Aram’s at 8:30 a.m. For more information
