INTECH supplies automation solutions and integration to the Oil and Gas industry. Initially assigned to OXY
(Occidental Petroleum) I got the one year contract renewed twice due to excellent performance and good
relation with the client. Then became Lead Engineer in Oil & Gas and Water Projects developed in Houston at
Intechs headquarters. My responsibilities and achievements have included:
Supported Construction group for a North Dakota oil field project, remotely from Houston or traveling to
site. I did Commissioning for 80+ wells, ensuring the Automation worked properly. Pro-efficient with PLC
Compact Logix, Control Logix, Iconics 32 and Tag configuration in OSI PI server.
Received requirements directly from the client and addressed the task to be done by programmers
preventing and solving misunderstandings.
P&ID revision, I/O list generation, Cause & Effect charts, Control Narratives, Operators manual
Executed FAT and SAT to Automation panels managing changes and corrections to meet time deadlines.
Defined and implemented control applications for Injection Pumps, at the Central Battery Tank, North
Dakota, ensuring safe and automated operation of the equipment.
HMI Displays design (GraphWorx, Wonderware R2, Factory Talk view). High performance HMI philosophy
Modbus integration using Wireless devices and RTA bridge to PLC, ProSoft Modules.
Trained personnel so they could properly operate the systems, and letting them feel they can count on my
