Dear Colleagues,
On behalf the Pediatric Endocrinology Working Group/Indonesian Pediatric Society and Indonesian
Pediatric Society DI Yogyakarta Branch, we are delighted to welcome you to our yearly Indonesian
Pediatric Endocrinology Update, this year for the fourth is to be held in heritage city, Yogyakarta from
27 - 28 May 2016. The Pediatric Endocrinology Working Group is committed to the development and
advancement of health professionals in the art of science of Clinical Pediatric Endocrinology and
Metabolism.
This 4th Indonesian Pediatric Endocrinology Update will bring together leading experts in the eld of
endocrinology, diabetes and obesity, both national & international, to discuss the current issues in
and practical management of endocrine disorders. We hope that health professionals in paediatric
endocrinology and diabetes will be able to foster dialogue between health professionals and to engage
the updated high quality clinical information and issues and basic science. Also, other clinicians, including
general pediatricians, pharmacists, radiologists, surgeons, obstetric gynecologists, clinical pathologists
and general practitioners with an interest in Clinical Pediatric Endocrinology and Metabolism.
There are growing numbers of cases referred by general pediatricians in daily pediatric endocrinology
practices these recent years. It shows increased awareness and knowledge of other colleagues in this eld.
Learning from those cases, the timing and indication of referral we nd it essential to elaborate further
on special issues regarding emergency and newborn cases in order to improve case detection, proper and
timely management. The 4th Pediatric Endocrinology Update this year with the theme Endocrinology
Consultations: Improving Case Detection and Management in Newborn and Critically ill Children will
deliver the clinical judgment and guidelines for Physicians in referral basis (in case presentations &
interactive discussion) in the face of normal screening due to establish the optimal therapy that leads to
maximum potential for normal growth and development in premature, sick newborn and critically ill
children.
Do join us at the 4th Indonesia Pediatric Endocrinology Update where you will be able to meet and discuss
ways to strengthen collaboration and address issues of common concern in the truly cultural city of
Yogyakarta.

Participants are invited to submit Free Paper describing innovations, audit results, tools etc of Clinical Endocrinology and
Metabolism eld. The best 3 will be selected for abstract selection meeting in short oral presentation (10 minutes includes
discussion- approximately 5 slides) and others for poster presentations.
Exhibition
4th Indonesian Pediatric Endocrinology Update will host a scientific exhibition on 27 28 May 2016 including the latest
technology, equipment for clinical management & research and literature.
Ocial Language
The official languages of the 4th Indonesian Pediatric Endocrinology Update are English (especially in the session which
involved overseas speakers) & Indonesian. English will be used for all printed materials, presentation with overseas speakers and
discussions. Any simultaneous translation will not be provided.

Please prepare the following information:
Revised abstract is allowed for one time only and should be clearly stated in email subject and received by 07 May 2016 to
be final review by the Free Paper Coordinator.
Withdrawal/Revision will not be possible after the above mentioned date.
Submitted abstracts will be reviewed by Free Paper Coordinator to be allocated in either oral or poster upon category,
quality, clarity, and relevance for the audience, as well as the significance of the paper.
Notification will be emailed to nominated email address at the latest before 30 April 2015 along with the detail instructions
for place, date and time of presentation.
PUBLICATION
Abstracts accepted for Oral or Poster Presentations will appear in the official Abstract Book. In order for abstract to be
published, the presenter must fulfill appropriate Registration Fee in term of administrative purpose.
The Organizing Committee has a right reserve to edit the format of abstract due to the printing task for publication in terms
of uniformity purpose.

1. Complete the Registration Form to the secretariat Fax address at 021.3153392 along with proof of payment [e.g. copy
of bank transfer slip]. Photocopied form is acceptable.
2. Payment Proof is strongly recommended to be done along with your Registration Form faxed submission.
3. The Registration Form will not be acknowledged until the appropriate Payment Proof has been received to the Secretariat
by Fax to 021-3153392 as soon as possible, following the Registration Form submission.
4. You may bring along your payment proof to proceed at the Re-Registration counter. Essentially, the name tag issued is

ACCOMMODATION
Hotel room rate is net for room only.
Please note that ocial check-in time is 14.00 local time and check-out time is 12.00 local time. Approval of early
check-in and late check-out is at discretion of the hotel.
No reservation will be made without full deposit of nights booking due to room availability.
Any changes and cancellations regarding to room reservation in pre-registration period must be done in writing to
the Secretariat at least 168 hours prior to arrival. After the date, guaranteed payment for 1 night will be charged.
No Show will be applied on the rst night for delayed or postpone staying that causes the loss of 1 night room deposit
