Attached are the company guidelines for the delivery of alcohol, alcohol related products and tobacco.
Please read this document carefully and return the signed declaration by Friday 27th November.
Documents can be returned to the base in person or via fax, email or post.

Guidelines
All Toll Fast drivers and employees have an obligation to ensure any deliveries of alcohol or alcohol
related products are performed inline with government legislation. Current legislation states that “It is
against the law to sell or supply alcohol to, or to obtain alcohol on behalf of, a person under the age of
18 years”.
Alcohol, alcohol related products and tobacco must not be delivered to persons under the age of
18 years under any circumstances.
Drivers have the right to refuse delivery if no proof of age can be shown.
If the person/s taking receipt of the delivery appears to look under 25 years of age, drivers are
required to ask to view an acceptable form of identification. If you have any doubt that the customer
looks younger than 25 you must ask for ID.
When asking to view identification, advise the customer that due to legislative requirements for the
delivery of alcohol or alcohol related products it is a requirement of the delivery that identification be
sited. When assessing identification, please adhere to the following guidelines;
If identification is unable to be produced or if you are in doubt that the identification supplied does not
place the holder as over the age of 18, please adhere to the following;
Delivery of alcohol, alcohol related products and tobacco to a person under the age of 18 years can
result in an on-the-spot fine of $1,100 or a court fine of up to $11,000 and/or 12 months
imprisonment.
