The WibuKey Plug and Play driver has been certified for Windows 8.1 WHQL (FB28823).

Features
FB28602: WibuKey Runtime: In future, the 'wkext32/64.dll' library is able to handle
Unicode paths. This requires to set the flags 'WKB_STDCTRL' or 'WKB_UNICODE'.
FB27833: WibuKey Runtime: Mac OS/Linux: The WibuKey user help was revised.

Bugfixes
FB28647: WibuKey Driver: Eventually WibuBoxes with the serial numbers 10/11-xxxx did
not work properly with USB 3.0 and WibuBoxes did not respond. The revised driver
'wibukey2(_64).sys' solves this issue.
FB29596: WibuKey Runtime: COM Control: If in the server search list a DNS name was
specified instead of an IP address and the network connection was interrupted, then the
access to WK API did not work although the connection was reestablished.
FB29252: WibuKey Runtime: Linux: On heavy load eventually the communication between
WibuKey driver and WibuBox did not work.
FB29119: WibuKey Runtime: WibuKey Control Panel: On exiting WibuKey Control Panel

Windows 8 and 8.1 Logo Test
The WibuKey driver (wibukey.sys and wibukey64.sys) passed the WHQL/HCH test of
Microsoft. Consequently, the WibuKey Runtime Kit complies to the Windows Logo tests for
Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 (FB21290).

FB25297: Installation: Mac OS X: Uninstalling on Mac OS X now considers the new
location of installing receipts.

FB22886: WibuKey Runtime: The Unicode support in the driver has been improved,

Information

With version 6.11 WibuKey supports only Mac OS X operating system versions equal
to or newer than 10.6.
The link to Remote Context files (*.rtc) using the shell extension will not work any
longer since conflicts with Windows Live Meeting occurred (FB19759).

Bugfixes
FB22582, 22583: WibuKey Runtime: If the buffer size of 'wkxcontext.mpvDest' with
function 'WkxGetRemoteContext2()' was chosen too small, the system crashed.
FB22076: WibuKey Runtime: WibuKey Control Panel: The writing of Extended Memory
(User Data only) did not work.

Support of Operating Systems

Starting with this version Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012 are supported. The
minimum operating system version on Windows is Windows XP. Files of older operating
systems have been cleaned up. The contained executable files are signed.
The minimum version of Mac OS X is 10.5.

Features
FB18441: Windows: Within USB driver the interrupts IRP_MJ_PNP /
IRP_MN_REMOVE_DEVICE are now handled in a different way to avoid conflicts with
third party drivers.
FB17173: Windows XP: WibuKey Server Monitor is now also installed on Windows XP
since the user interface of WibuKey Server has been removed.
FB20139: Mac OS X: The installation program has been revised. It now supports
installation on 10.8 (Mountain Lion) including digital signatures.

Bugfixes
FB1291: If a server name is available in server search list, a direct TCP/IP call is done
without a UDP broadcast. This now behaves identically to an IP-address in server search
list.
FB19768: Windows: Installation: The handling of files without version information has been
improved on update installations. Due to time changes there have been unnecessary
overwrite requests.
FB6534: Windows: Installation: WibuKey Server Manager is automatically stopped during
uninstall procedure to avoid warnings and user interaction.
FB6673: Windows: Installation: On systems with CodeMeter Runtime installed, an uninstall
of WibuKey Runtime removed the file WibuXpm4J32/64.dll which is also part of
CodeMeter Runtime.
FB7060, FB15955: Windows: Control Panel: Creating a WibuKey Report causes a crash if
some files could not be found.
FB6600: WibuKey Server returns now error 500 (internal server error) if web monitor file is
corrupt.

the installing file Setup32/64.exe did not delete the temporary files. This prevented a later
uninstalling or update installations.

FB5490: Windows: With the WkRuntime.exe there exist an additional combined installation
package which holds the runtime components for 32 bit and 64 bit Windows.
FB6320: Windows: The WibuKey Server Manager now is multi-lingual. Currently, a

FB5949: Mac OS X: For Mac OS X 10.4 even in this installer support for CFM9/Classic
applications is included. This requires a partition with Classic environment and a PPC
processor. Only the subsystem WkLAN is supported.
FB5705: Mac OS X: Problems on starting of WkConfig were fixed.
FB5716: Mac OS X: The WkMacXLib Framework now no longer refers to the Carbon
Framework.
FB1534: Mac OS X, Linux: The search for servers in the network using the server search
list now also works in the case that the PCs to be searched for are not part of the same
subnet, or are not addressable via UDP.
FB5925: Mac OS X, Linux: On specifying invalid values in WkConfig the error messages
have been improved.
FB3520: Linux: When WkConfig is started but Java VM is used instead of gcj, now
