Fr. Eds & Fr. Jamies schedules

Fr. Ed and Fr. Jamie will soon be moving on from our


community. Listed below are the last Sundays they will be
presiding at Masses at the UCC.
Fr. Ed will preside at Masses (both 10:30 am & 8:00
pm) on June 5 & 19. June 19th will be his last Sunday
presiding at the UCC. (June 12th we will have a
visiting priest for Mission Appeal, and Fr. Ed will be
at St. Pauls in Horseshoe Bay.)
Fr. Jamie is currently away, but will return for one
final Sunday to preside at Masses (both 10:30 am &
8:00 pm) on June 26th.
Mission Appeal Sunday June 12 at both Masses

We will have our Mission Appeal Sunday this


year on June 12th. Fr. Walter Dhanwar, IMS,
will visit the UCC to preside and preach at
both Masses (10:30 am & 8:00 pm).
Collections on that Sunday will benefit the
Indian Missionary Society, which aims to
propagate the Gospel and undertake welfare
measures for the well-being of the less fortunate in India.

Announcing our New Priests!

Starting July 1st, we will say farewell to Fr. Ed and Fr. Jamie and
hello to our new Director and Associate Director.
Fr. Larry Rice, CSP, will come in as our new
Director. He is currently serving as Vocations
Director for the Paulist Fathers and has served
previously as Director of the St. Thomas More
Newman Center at Ohio State University in
Columbus, Ohio. Fr. Larry was ordained as a
Paulist Father on May 13, 1989.

Power over life and death is Gods alone. We see the depth of
Gods mercy and care for those in need. Who do you know that
needs Gods life giving presence? How can you be a living
encounter of Gods mercy?
