This is a course for complete beginners and no prior subject knowledge is


required.
This course is for anyone interested in the Arabic language and culture,
whether for business, holidays or simply the challenge of learning a new
language.
However: to start the course you will need to be able to;
Follow written instructions with support or on your own and work
through them at your own pace.
Listen and join in group discussions.
Read simple maps and use 12h &24h clock.
Jot down notes to record relevant information.
Keep your work organized in a file.
To facilitate and to give all the learners the opportunity to learn at their own
pace and ability, and to teach all learners how to be able to communicate in
the Arabic language.
During this course you will have the opportunity to further develop your
communication skills and build up your confidence through a range of
interactive activities. In addition there will be an element of cultural
awareness in this course.
By the end of the course you will be able to :
Identify greetings for different times of day.
Exchange basic personal information with others about self
Recognise letters of the Arabic Alphabet and use the alphabet to spell
own name.
Order food and drinks in a caf
Use numbers up to 50 to provide personal information, e.g.: give and
request name & phone number & How old , days of the week, months of
year
Introduce and practice with the greetings for the time of day.
Introduce and practice with words and phrases for courtesies/
Introduce and practice how to: ask/give your name
Recap courtesies and greetings.
Introduce and practice with general vocabulary and set phrases for
exchanging personal information, name surname, nationality, age, phone
number & How old.
Introduce and practice with the numbers: 1 to 10.

Introduce Arabic Alphabet and recognise letters of the Arabic Alphabet and
