To develop an understanding of Management Science to solve the decision-making
problems that confronts and confounds managers in both the public and the private
sector by developing mathematical models of those problems, to understand the
relationship between Management Science, operations and other business functions,
such as Marketing, Finance Accounting, and Human Resources, to demonstrate the
use of mathematical models, modeling and solution techniques
The students who are able to finish this course sucesfully;
1) will be able to define the basic concepts of Management Science
2) will be able to model these concepts in public and private sector business
activities
3) will be able to apply the basic concepts of various administrative activities
4) be able to show the integral relationship to analyze complex administrative
problems
This course is based on operations research in management decision making, and the
mathematical methods will be taught.
