List steps/instructions required to perform this activity.

After showing a cartoon picture, a group of 4 students decide the keyword.
Write the word on the center circle of a worksheet.
Each student should write one sentence about the cartoon picture in one quarter.
The students should use one grammatical point given by a teacher.
Each group members share the writings.
After sharing, students can pick one group’s writing through “Pyramid discussion”.

Rationale
Why would you use this writing activity in your classroom?
To describe a given situation through writing.
To encourage students cooperate in completing sentence making.

Could this activity be easily adapted to different teaching contexts? If so how? If not, why not?
Yes. This can be used in many ways.
* In the center circle, Ss can write down a topic sentence or a title instead of just a key word.
* The sentences don’t necessarily have to be sequential. If making a story is hard for Ss’ level, Ss can just write one
describing sentence in given spot so that they can share their thoughts in the group.
* To modify this activity, teacher can give a condition to use one grammar point in every sentence.
In contrast, Ss can do it regardless of grammar point according to level.
* Also, T can use pictures or movie clips related with textbook instead of using cartoon.
* T can give different task according to the group’s level.
* T can guide more than one sentence for higher level students instead of one.
