2. Getting started

Remote controller
2.1 Charging the battery
The internal battery of the projector may not be fully charged for the first time.
You can charge the battery by the following two ways:
- Plug the AC power adapter into the DC-IN jack of the projector, and connect
the other end to the power source.
- Connect the small end of the supplied USB cable to the USB port of the
device, and the large end to a powered PC.
Make sure the projector is powered off.

Adjust the focus by using the focus wheel to get a sharp and clear picture.
2.6 Installing the WiFi application program
To link your mobile devices like smart phone, tablet PC or notebook PC with
the projector, you need to install their corresponding application programs first.
EZ WiFi program is designed for Windows based or Mac OS based notebook
PC. EZ Display program is designed for Android based or iOS based smart
phones and tablet PCs.
Before installing the program, please check if your mobile device meets the
operation system requirement of EZ WiFi or EZ Display as below.
EZ WiFi program
- Windows operation system : Windows XP/Vista/7 (Note: Audio function is
NOT supported for Windows 7.
- Apple Mac operation system : Mac OS 10.7 or later
EZ Display program
- Android operation system : Android ICS 4.0 or above
- Apple iOS operation system : iOS 5.0 or above
Download and installation
For using Windows, Android or Apple Mac based mobile devices.
- Turn on the projector by plugging the power adapter or using the internal
battery. You will see the opening screen. Select WiFi Display item from main
menu and identify the default device name EZ Projector and its default IP
address 192.168.111.1.

- Turn on the WiFi function of


your mobile device and search
the device EZ Projector.
- Enter the link pass
word 87654321 to connect
with the projector.
- Open the Internet explorer
program of your mobile device
(like I.E.) and search the device
IP address 192.168.111.1.
- The program download page
will be displayed. Please click
the corresponding program to
download it for your mobile
device.
For using Apple iOS based
iPhone or iPad devices
- Turn on the WiFi function of
your mobile device and search
the device EZ Projector.
After download, follow the on
screen instructions to complete

3 Functions and operations


3.1 Playback the contents from the inserted micro SD card.
When turn on the projector, you will see the opening screen as below.
You can use the bundled remote controller or arrow keys on the device to select
the play item or make setup.
3.1.1 Playback photo
Use the arrow keys to select Photo
item and the memory device (SD/TF
or USB disk). And follow the file
navigator to select target photo file.
This projector supports *.jpg, *.jpeg,
and *.bmp image formats.
When playing a photo, press OK key

on the remote controller to active the
function bar with following functions.
Rotate - Enlarge Last photo Next photo Slideshow Erase Copy Exit
You also can use the left and right keys on the projector or remote controller to
forward and backward the displayed photo.
From Setting item on the main menu, you can active slideshow function, select
display ratio (original size or full screen), or slideshow duration.

3.1.2 Play music


Use the arrow keys to select
Music item and the memory
device (SD/TF or USB disk). And
follow the file navigator to select
the target music file.
This projector supports mp3,
wma, ogg, wav music formats.
When playing music, you can use
Photo Function Bar
the keys on the projector or remote
controller to select music file, pause or play the music or adjust the volume.
From Setting item on the main
menu, you can select playing
single music or sequence music.
3.1.3 Play video
Use the arrow keys to select
Video item and the memory
device (SD/TF or USB disk). And
follow the file navigator to select
Music Menu
target video file.
This projector supports MPEG1/2/4, H264, WMV, RMVB video formats with
up to 1080p resolution.

When playing video, you can use the


keys on the projector on remote
controller to select video file, fast
forward or backward, pause/play
video, stop play, or adjust the volume.
From Setting item on the main menu,
you can select display ratio (original
size or full screen), or playing single
Video Menu
or sequence video.
3.2 Play multimedia contents from mobile devices by WiFi connection
3.2.1 Reset the device name and connection pass word
The default device name and link pass word are EZ Projector
and 87654321. To change them, go to WiFi Display item on main menu and
press right arrow key on remote controller to access WiFi setup page, you can
use the on screen key board to reset the device name and link pass word. Press
left arrow key to return main menu after finishing.
3.2.2 Select WiFi connection mode
This projector can be set up in two WiFi connection modes.
- AP (Pear-to-pear) mode: Allow the mobile devices download the application
programs from this projector and project the multimedia contents from the
projector wirelessly.
- Client (Internet access) mode: Allow the mobile devices to

Search the WiFi router and enter the required access key to complete the
connection.
To enter the router access key, please go to the PSK column and press OK key
on the remote controller or on the projector to display the on-screen key board.
Press return key to exit.
The mobile devices can either link to this projector or above WiFi router to
access Internet.
3.2.3 Projecting from
Windows-based Notebook PCs

PC first.
- Turn on this projector and go to
WiFi Display page.
- Turn on WiFi function on your
Notebook PC.
- Open EZ WiFi program and it

- EZ WiFi program provides splitter display, Mirror/Extend display and
audio on/off options for your needs.

3.2.6 Projecting from Mac OS-based Notebook PCs
Make sure EZ WiFi program has been installed on
EZ View(iOS )
your Mac Notebook PC first.
- Turn on this projector and go to
WiFi Display page.
- Turn on WiFi function on your
Notebook PC.
- Open EZ WiFi program and it will
search and link this projector
automatically.
- EZ WiFi program provides splitter
display, Mirror/Extend display and
EZ WiFi(Mac)
