CQ00498744
The Storage Client may freeze after attempting to create multiple volumes on
a Storage Center without Storage Types.
Workaround: On SCv2000 series Storage Centers, create a single volume on
the Storage Center before creating multiple volumes. On all other Storage
Centers, create a Storage Type before creating volumes.
CQ00498688
CQ00486044
The status of a secondary Live Volume remains down after bringing the
primary Storage Center back online.

Creating an RDM for a VM hosted on an ESX server maps the volume to the
server in the cluster instead of the cluster object.
Workaround: Manually promote the volume to the ESX server cluster
mappings. Then, rescan for hosts on the vCenter server.

Installation Instructions
For instructions on installing and setting up Enterprise Manager, see the Dell Enterprise Manager 2015 R3
Installation Guide.
The Data Collector being updated must be running version 6.1 or later.
The server that hosts the Data Collector must be running a 64-bit operating system. If the Data
Collector is installed on a 32bit server, migrate to a 64bit operating system.
For each managed Storage Center, the Storage Center certificate must contain the host name or
management IP address used to add the Storage Center to Enterprise Manager. For instructions on
regenerating an SSL certificate, see the Storage Center Administrators Guide.
1.
2.
3.
If you are using a remote Data Collector, repeat Step 2 on the server that hosts the remote Data
Collector.
4.
5.
On a 64bit server, install the same Data Collector version that is running on the existing 32bit server.
2.
Migrate the Data Collector configuration from the 32bit server to the 64bit server. For specific
instructions, see the Data Collector Management chapter in the Enterprise Manager Administrators
Guide.
3.
Upgrade the Data Collector on the 64bit server to version 2015 R3.
