rigs advantages in comparison with traditional rigs


Automatic drilling is operated by one person driller; bit load automatic control;
Possibility to create additional vertical load (down/ on the bit) up to 40 t by the use of the main
working cylinder;
Drilling equipment RIH/POOH operations are operated by one person driller (one assistant is
needed while casing running);
Drill-pipe connection speed - 3 minutes;
HH rig does not require winch refrigeration brake sheaves;
HH rig does not require electromagnetic or hydraulic auxiliary brakes and respectively their
cooling;
There is no wear of drawworks brake straps and pads in case of its absence;
hydraulic rig has efficiency ratio of utilization of engine and hook capacity not less than 0,8;
With the use of top drive there is a possibility of simultaneous direct and reverse RIH/POOH
operations with pipes and their circulation;
HH drilling rig mast is much lower than standard ones, in this case the wind loads and the
stresses arising in the mast frame due to them are reduced;
Absence of the derrick man balcony excludes upstairs operations and thereby increases the
safety of work;
Automated operations with drill pipes reduces the number of necessary staff and thus reduce
injuries and improve safety conditions;
Maximum noise level at HH rig work floor does not exceed 60 dB.
HH drill rig placing requires up to 2 times less territory compares to the traditional rig placing.
