Synthetic Sizing Agent for WJL Weaving

MARPOZOL W-505 is the synthetic size material for POLYESTER filament woven in Water
Jet Loom.
MARPOZOL W-505 excels in abrasion-resistance to the reed of W.J.L. and it has properties
of low tackiness and little size shedding from yarn.
Therefore, it is available for high speed weaving.

2. Advantage
1)MARPOZOL W-505 is designed to be of low tackiness even under high contact pressure
generated in large package production of weavers beam.
2)MARPOZOL W-505 is highly cohesive for Polyester yarn, therefore it is effectively
applicable even to highly dense fabrics.
3)Since the build-up of size shedded is little, W-505 can minimize the troubles which could
possibly be caused by that.
4)MARPOZOL W-505 is of superior dryability , therefore it can cope with the
requirements of high-speed sizing and high-speed weaving.

Testing Method;
a. Cohesiveness:
Our high-speed TM friction resistance tester was used, and the condition of the sized
yarn was observed.

b. Size shedding: measured through our tester.

c. Unwinding tension:
The sized yarn is wound on a cone at high tension and conditioned at (40,90%RH)
for 72hrs. Then the unwinding tension is measured under a temperature of 30
and a humidity of 80%RH.
The higher the figure is the higher tackiness we get.
