officer of multiple clinics and responsible for planning, organizing, directing
and evaluating the activities and programs of this faith-based Federally
Qualified Health Center in accordance with the policies of its Board of
Directors.
Duties: Provide oversight and direction for all services, serve as liaison to the
Board of Directors, maintain compliance with requirements of DHS, BPHC,
funders, applicable laws and regulations, oversee financial development and
monitoring including budgets, oversee personnel including hiring and
termination of clinic staff, oversee al public relations activities, direct all clinic
fundraising.
Director of Nursing, Los Angeles Christian Health Centers, Los
Angeles (Nov. 2006-June 2007). Responsible for the programs and health
services provided by this faith-based community clinic in Downtown Los
Angeles’ Skid Row.
Duties: Program planning, implementation, and evaluation; management of
30 program staff and resources; oversight of the clinic laboratory and
dispensary; staff recruitment, hiring and development, quality assurance and
infection control; and compliance with all applicable regulations and
requirements of a Federally Qualified Health Center.
Vice President, QueensCare, Los Angeles (1996-2006). Administrator of
a large faith-based community health program with over 50 faith partners
and an annual budget over $1.4 million.
Duties: Program planning, implementation, and evaluation; management of
30 program staff and resources; fiscal responsibility and fundraising;
promotion and marketing; collaboration with community based organizations
and their stakeholders; and consultation to Faith & Health programs
throughout the United States.
