“When I was in Europe, I saw a woman in her 80s riding her bicycle. When she got to
the market, she took her cane out of her basket to do her shopping - but she was still
riding her bicycle. That is my goal,” says Carol Parker., who’s part of a group planning
new 55+ group bike rides and refresher sessions, with help from the PRCR Senior
Adult Programs office. They took their first group ride May 19, and more summer
rides are being planned -- both easy and ambitious. For more information and to join

OVERNIGHTS - In addition to 12-15 monthly day trips, the 55+ Travel Team
plans an overnight trip each month and a longer trip each quarter! This June, enjoy
the openings of two fantastic art exhibits in Philadelphia: Renoir at the Museum
of Art and the incredible Cleopatra exhibit at the Franklin Institute. We will spend
an exciting evening in downtown Philly at the Marriott across from the Reading
Terminal market.
Our July overnight is to St. Michaels in Maryland, where we will spend Friday
exploring and dining on the waterfront and Saturday at the Chesapeake Bay
Festival.
This fall, plan to enjoy the lovely fall foliage during our nine-night New England
and Canada cruise, departing Baltimore on Sept. 23. Look for future overnights
to the theatre in New York, and watch for trips during the December holidays −
